Our History
1982
Mid-State Engineers
Formerly know as Mid-State Engineers in 1982, originally providing planning, civil engineering and surveying services.
1989
David Marchell
In 1989, David A. Marchell P.E., P.L.S. joins Mid-State Engineers and in 1995 is named president of the newly formed Omni Design Inc. Architectural services were added, followed by landscape architecture and electrical engineering.
2003
Telecommunications services
In 2003, Omni Design Inc. expanded its telecommunications services, completing more than 6,000 projects in less than 20 years.
2021
Concentrated on providing professional
Between 2003 and 2022, Omni Design Inc. staff and services are concentrated on providing professional Architectural, Civil Engineering, and Land Surveying services.
2022
Strategic move
In 2022 Omni Design Inc. joins Cal y Mayor Group in a strategic move to expand its markets and services with state-of-the-art technology tools.

Rafael Cal y Mayor when he departed from a career in public service to establish a consulting firm focused on traffic and transportation engineering.
