The interior design includes separate, strategically positioned stairways to provide private access to each residential unit without intruding on the commercial areas.
Complying with the city’s design guidelines, the building features a primary entrance that faces the street and connects to nearby public walkways. To highlight the main entry, the design incorporates architectural enhancements such as variations in wall planes, contrasting materials and colors, integrated lighting, and a dynamic roofline.
To foster transparency and engagement with the streetscape, the façade includes clear glazing that opens views into work areas and lobbies. At least 60% of the street-facing façade features doors, windows, or openings between 2′-6″ and 8′-0″ above ground, with no uninterrupted wall segment exceeding 25 feet.
Omni Design carefully met these requirements by integrating vertical glazing within dynamic architectural elements, adding a pop-out façade with a balcony to enhance depth, and using two primary field colors complemented by coordinated accent tones for visual richness.
The project is scheduled for completion in late 2023.
