Zoo Med Laboratories, a leading pet product research and development company headquartered in San Luis Obispo, is expanding its operations with a new facility in Nipomo. Known for its innovation with over 30 patents and manufacturing more than 50% of its 1,200 products locally, Zoo Med continues to lead the industry in pet care solutions.​

Omni Design provided architecture and engineering services for this new distribution facility, which is located on a 9.1-acre site.​

Key Features:

• Phased Construction: The project involves the phased development of two 70,000-square-foot high warehouses. These warehouses will be used for storage, re-packaging, and wholesale distribution.​

• Sustainable Site Design: The facility is set in a well-landscaped light-industrial park, incorporating low-impact development techniques such as retention basins, bioswales, and other environmentally friendly stormwater management systems.​

This state-of-the-art distribution facility, designed by Omni, will enable Zoo Med Laboratories to streamline its logistics operations while supporting sustainable site practices.
