Paso Robles Airport T.I.

Project Information

Location

Paso Robles, CA

Client

City of Paso Robles

Omni Design was selected by the City of Paso Robles to provide design services for renovations at the Paso Robles Municipal Airport. With new technology and industries moving into the region, the airport serves as a gateway to the City, and the goal of the project is to refresh and modernize the facility to match the standard set by the City’s other recent capital projects.

Key Features

  • Modern Architectural Refresh: The project includes exterior building updates to the Terminal and FAA building, with revisions to paint, materials, and finishes to create a fresh, contemporary look.

  • Site & Landscape Improvements: Repurposing of the existing exterior rose garden space, along with the addition of a new metal gate, blast walls, and a monument sign to enhance both the function and curb appeal of the entry experience.

  • Three-Concept Design Approach: Omni developed three distinct conceptual design schemes, each accompanied by a narrative and rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimates, to give the City a range of options that balance design vision with budget.

  • Advanced Visualization: Drone imagery, 3D Revit modeling, and high-quality renderings were used throughout the design process to provide before-and-after visualizations and support clear, informed decision-making.

Outcome

The renovation will deliver a modern, welcoming gateway to the City of Paso Robles, aligning the airport’s appearance with the quality standards of the City’s other recent civic projects. The project is currently in progress, with Omni leading the design team through schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration in close collaboration with the City and Airport Manager.
